I’m the author of Journey to Sunfire Mountain, a middle grade fantasy adventure inspired by Basque myth and its uncommon characters. Like the main character, I went to middle school in a remote Basque village and have wanted to share this fascinating culture with others ever since then. Along with a unique setting and magical folklore, the novel is a humorous, action-packed tale about an ordinary boy and girl dealing with extraordinary circumstances.
Besides writing stories, I enjoy reading fantasy and folktales, practicing qigong, and writing jangly songs on guitar. I live in the Hudson Valley with my lovely, talented wife.
